Poor Gabi

Poor little Gabrielle. She is just a mess. First of all, she started PE again this quarter at school and with all the running around, it aggravated her Severs Disease. This is where the bones in her feet and ankles are not completely fused together and with activity, it can cause those bones to rub together. Since she has not been too active, she is definitley feeling it. Then, from hobbling around the next day at school, she fell and banged her knee and hurt her toe as well. After, that she really couldn't walk. While sleeping over at her cousins house, to top it off, she jammed her hurt toe into the stairs and made it even worse. After all that, she begged for crutches. Luckily, for us, but not for them, we have friends that have had several foot and knee problems, that loaned her a pair. She was so grateful, until after being on them for a whole day at school, her underarms are completely sore. You just can't win, can you? But, look she's still smiling. When someone asks her what happened, she just says, "It's a long story." Sigh.
