I finally got my fall wreaths spruced up to put back on my doors. They had bundles of fall flowers at Michael's for $1. I splurged and got a few. I love to have pretty wreaths on my doors.

Oops! There's no candy in the basket. This kids ate it all. I just love these white pumpkins!

Christiana and Josie went to Josie's school festival. They came home with these adorable string puppets. Eliza pretty much lost her mind. She didn't get one. Good thing Christiana was a good sharing sister that day.

Eliza Jane has lost both her 2 bottom teeth in the last couple weeks. The big ones are already coming in. We never got to see her toothless. Maybe, next time.

Christiana and I enjoyed a Mother-Daughter Activity Day at church last week. We played games that the mom's played when they were little girls like, hopscotch, Ci-Ci my playmate, jumprope, yahtzee, and made friendship pins. Remember the kind that you put beads on the safety pin and attached them to your tennis shoes? Then you would trade them with your friends. We wanted as many as we could make fit on our shoes. We also had delicious deserts and brought family pictures. The only one I had of Christiana and I was when she was a baby. All the other good ones are in my scrapbooks, of course! We also wrote letters to our girls about our hopes and dreams for them and they actually wrote a letter to their future children. It was hard for the girls to think about actually, really being a mom someday, but she came up with a few neat things to say. Christiana LOVES that 1 on 1 attention. She did not want the night to end. We will have to create more opportunities for special mother daughter moments like this.

Where did you get the basket and pumpkins?
Love the wreath. Your home always looks beautiful with that touch of color. I love fall too. I love that you had that time with Christiana. I bet you wish you were two people sometimes so you could have that time with each one regularly. I can't believe Eliza with her big teeth! Still adorable.
