It was pumpkin carving night, although I was not in the mood. Thankfully, the girls were, so I carved off the top and let them have at it! Gabrielle and Christiana really enjoyed pulling out all the goop and seeds. I caught Christiana relishing in feeling the pumpkin between her fingers. Gabrielle was determined to scrape the inside as clean as possible, and Eliza, well, if you know Eliza, she did NOT touch it, but was content on being a spectator.
Gabrielle wrote our name on the pumpkin and then proceded to carve it out. I was happy to turn the job over to someone else this year. Thanks Gabs.
Eliza still had a stain of spaghetti sauce on her face from dinner. I laughed when I realized it looked like she had been eating the pumpkin!
