My Dancing Girlies
Sunday afternoon's seem to be the time when my girls get the most creative. They spread out a white blanket on the family room floor, added a blue flashlight to reflect the moon, made some stars, put on some Enya, and danced their little hearts out. It was a beautiful and graceful performance, even though they got the giggles for the first 2 songs! The costumes they are wearing were, of course, my hand me downs to them. When I wore them, I never once thought that maybe my own daughters would wear them someday. The gap between generations really isn't that big at all. I realize this the older I get. I look forward to many more dance performances from my girls and look back to many that have already occurred in our family room, dance room, and even outside. I love it! Keep dancing!
