Eliza turns 7!

Happy Birthday Eliza!
This one's for you, Mom; the play by play of Eliza opening your gift. As you can tell she LOVED it!



Eliza's 7th birthday was full of excitement. She got the roller book bag she really, really, wanted AND her very own alarm clock that she kept asking for. I thought most little girls wanted Barbies and dolls. Eliza likes those things, but she knows what she really wants, and usually it is something slightly unusual. I remember one year for Christmas she was dying for a step stool. To make it a little more exciting, I found a pink one that actually opened up to store little stuff inside. To top it all off, she lost her 5th tooth on her b-day too! I told her she's not aloud to get any bigger, that 5 years old was my tops. She giggles when I tell her 7 is just way too old. "Too late, Mom!" she says. Here are a few pics from her very wild party. She wanted a Panda theme. Just a reminder to all you party giving Mom's, find out what your options are as far as cakes, plates, decor, etc. before you let them decide on a theme. Panda is just not the most popular party theme choice. I ended up buying a little family of Pandas to put on her cake which was $10 (more than I wanted to spend since the cost of the cake was separate. They just don't make panda cakes. There are plenty of ideas to make one yourself, but, you know me, and how that is just not gonna happen. I decorated with black and white with a touch of pink, so it didn't look like a funeral. Thanks to Christiana she found a panda mask to print out and make for the kids. They decorated them at the party. Anyway, it is alot easier if you go with what's available. It turned out o'kay in the end. I couldn't resist getting her a little panda necklace too. Pretty cute.
