The Balancing Act

Have you ever been so busy with things that cannot be put off to another day, that you cannot seem to find the time or even the desire to be creative? That has been me lately. I have not hardly taken a picture. I love taking pictures, especially now a days that I don't have to develop every single picture I take. I can just put it in my Memory Manager and onto my blog, or save it for a digital photo album. I love that! Some activities that we schedule are no brainers, meaning we have to do them. Other activities are optional; they are the activities that we do have a choice over, that may not be the most important thing. I have become better at this balancing act as I have thought and prayed over alot of the activities our family is involved in. I try to be very careful not to overschedule my family and my life. I have learned what my limits are through trial and error. The last few weeks, I have fallen off the wagon just a tad and it has gotten a little crazy. I am looking forward to better balance and quiet time for myself and time with my husband. Any thoughts on gaining control over your life? finding balance?

Look at what is important to you, write it down. Then cross out what you can live without.
You can't do everything even if you think you can. Make a list!

Ally gives good advice. Balance is a life long challenge even when it is just the two of you. I know you will find the time to do all that is needful. Remember to take the time to fill your own bucket.

I think you have perfect balance. Let's just say I have always admired you from afar. :)

I think the beginning of school always throws us mom's through the loop.

Give yourself sometime in the morning or late at night to meditate. To listen to answers. They will come. You are doing a great job!
