Alabama Temple Trip

The Atlanta temple closed on the 1st of July for 18 months while some rennovations are being done. This makes it difficult as Latter Day Saints to keep up our service in the temple, so our area has been assigned to the Birmingham, Alabama temple. In order to attend, you must have an appointment. Our ward and other members of our stake attended an 8am session, which meant that we had to leave around 5:45 am. We wanted to give ourselves plenty of time; if we were late, we would miss our session and there would not be an opportunity to attend another. They are scheduled and they are full. So, Randy and I, and some other friends from our ward headed out together. This temple is so small, but very beautiful. It was neat to attend a different temple. We had a nice morning.

This was our group that rode up together. We had plenty of time to chit chat which made the drive seem quicker. I am looking forward to our next visit to Birmingham.

When did you go?
Do you go to the temple once a month?

It looks like it was a beautiful day. Temple service is such a blessing in our lives and sometimes especially when it requires sacrifice.
You all look happy.
Love the skirt.
You and Randy look like newlyweds still.
