Mother's Day Tea

Eliza invited me to a Mother's Day Tea at her preschool today. They didn't have tea, just water and lemonade. When I got there Eliza escorted me to my seat and then proceded to get me my drink order. Each child had given up their seat for their mom and they all sat together on the floor eating their snack. If I count how many of these I have been to, it adds up to 9! They do them every year in preschool and in Kindergarten. I guess, I only have 1 more to go. No, I have 2 more to go since my nephew, Tanner is in Kindergarten and his mom will not be there for his. He requested his Aunt Carrie. I felt very priveleged considering he has 2 grandma's and 2 other aunts in town, close by. So, I guess by the time it is all over, I will have attended 11 Mother's Day Teas!! Whew! That's alot. Here are a few photos of the day.

She gave up her seat for me. This is what I found. On my placemat she answered questions about me. How old is your mom? 20 years old ( ha! ha! )

What is her favorite color? Red

What is her favorite food? spaghetti (that's her favorite food)

What is your fav thing to do with your Mom? I like to walk the dog with her.

If you had all the money in the world, what would you buy for her? I would buy

her some clothes. ( I could surely use some!!! )

What makes your Mom happy? Giving her a hug!

Singing a sweet Mother's Day song.

These are wonderful days. I know they get repetitive but they are joyful as I could see from the pictures. What a blessing it is to be a mother. It is one of God's greatest gifts to women. Each day is a treasure that is too soon gone. Oh how I wish I could go back for a day and relive it with all of my children at home. (I only wish for the good days of course!) Have a happy day. Thanks for bringing back the memories.
