LUCKY DUCK!!!!!

Gabrielle left for her cruise today. That lucky duck! She was so graciously invited to go with her friend, Lindsey. They have been friends since elementary school. Lindsay has one sister and she was able to invite a friend too. There has been alot of planning and preparation prior to this long awaited day. I sure learned alot about organizing and planning a trip through this experience. I can't tell you how many emails I received from Lindsay's mom. Gabrielle had to have a passport, affadavit signed, a certified copy of her birth certificate and a Hepatitis A immunization before she left. I also recieved a complete packing list and information about flight rules including the maximum weight for luggage, how many bags you can check and carry-on, what you can and cannot carry-on the flight and what to wear or not wear on the plane. Lindsay's mom, Debbie, even asked me the measurements of Gabrielle's suitcase! Oh, and I forgot to mention that they came to pick up all the important documents the day before just to be sure that they had them. Wow! Now, that's organization! I am impressed! I surely have room to improve in this area. Gabrielle is going to have a FANTASTIC time! I am happy for her, but yes, we are all a little bit jealous.
