Doesn't she look so cute? When I took Gabrielle for her check up so that she can go on trek, one of the questions was about her vision. O'kay, o'kay, so I have known that she has had a little trouble seeing things far away, but I didn't think it was a big deal and that it got in the way of normal everyday life. Little did I know, she really couldn't see the board at school. They had her take a vision test right there in the office and sure enough, she didn't pass. They told me to take her to have her eyes tested, or whatever it is you call that, and yes, she needed glasses. I know nothing about vision tests, glasses, etc! I told the eye doctor that, but he still didn't do a whole lot of explaining. Anyway, she is a happy girl to be able to SEE!
Sunday, I had to speak in Stake Conference. I am not sure what they were thinking, but nevertheless, I think it went well. Randy was singing in the choir, which sounded amazing, by the way, and I had to sit up on the stand as well, of course. The kids sat on the 3rd row and Gabrielle kept smiling at me. Didn't she know that everyone could see me? Towards the end of the conference, Eliza held up a picture to me. I could not see it, but afterwards she showed it to me and this is what it was--Me at the pulpit with choir and speakers sitting all around and down in the front, Eliza sitting on the 3rd pew by Gabrielle. I love it.
Earlier in the week, she drew this picture for Randy. She said he was on roller skates. Too cute!

Anna wanted those type of glasses but because of her not having a bridge poor Asian nose she couldn't get them.

Gabi, I agree that you are gorgeous in glasses. I had to get them when I turned 15. Back then they were HUGE!!!! Did you love to see that there are individual leaves on trees and not just big green blobs? :)
What was the talk topic? And loved the art keepsakes!!
How sweet is that of Eliza and yes your talk was very good. Gabi looks cute in her glasses.
