It's Snowing in Georgia!
The weather channel said that it was supposed to snow on Sunday, but we don't usually count on it here in Georgia. But, to our surprise, the rain turned to sleet and then to snow! They were big beautiful snowflakes and it was really coming down. O'kay you Utahn's, it was really coming down for Georgia. It was so exciting, but the big kids were bummed it didn't last until Monday. Everyone had to go to school. Bummer for them, good for me. This first picture, I took looking out my front door and standing on my front porch barefoot. It was freezing, but I didn't want to miss it. After the girls played outside for a bit, Randy went outside and started rolling the snow for a snowman. It took all our snow! We were down to grass, grassy snow too. Not quite as pretty as when it was coming down. Randy wrote the word "SNOW" in our front yard. It looked really great from a second story window of the house. Here's a little taste of our day in the snow, or should I say 30-40 or so minutes in the snow. It was cold and we just don't have the clothing for it around here. No boots, waterproof gloves, just the knit ones that get wet really fast. Today the snow mostly melted, but it was fun while it lasted.

We Georgians have so much fun in the little bit of snow we get!
I actually saw the cutest little girl interviewed on the weather channel. She said "I thought it was Chicago and then I looked again and it was Atlanta." You got a pretty good snowfall down south. Loved the happy pictures. Snow is fun. Especially when there is green grass under it!
What fun! Love the pictures. It's a great example of Carpe Diem. (Seize the day)
That is so great that you got SNOW!!! Nothing really new for us here in Utah...
I really enjoyed the picture of Uncle Randy and Eliza rolling the big snowball and spelling the word snow.I can't wait to see you guys again!!!
