Grandpa (Dad to us) celebrates 80!

Our family, along with some of Dad's good friends celebrated his 80th birthday today. There was lots of people and lots of food. Lauri and Kinley put together a slide show of Grandpa and all the kids and grandkids. There were even some great grandkids in the slideshow too. I have lost count of how many there are, but I think Dad has 50 grandchildren and 19 great-grandkids. He can be proud, wouldn't you say?
Oh no, I accidentally cut off Logan. These are all the grandkids living in Georgia except for Logan. Sorry buddy. I think we got 19!
Alyssa and Christiana play some duets on the piano.

The sandwich started with Gabrielle at the bottom, then Leah, then Aubrey, and then Kirsten. Gabrielle was ready for everyone to get off!

Leah, Spencer, Aubrey, Kirsten, and Gabrielle enjoy being together.

Randy asked Christiana to play a song for Grandpa in front of everyone. She thought she would play for him later after everyone left. She was wrong. She played one of his favorite songs, "Mockingbird." Grandpa was delighted.

There is always singing at any event for Mom and Dad. Dad wanted them to sing so much, the guys started finding excuses to stop. "Oh, I think someone needs some help."

I guess it would be impossible to put 80 candles on that cake.

Mom, Dad, and the 4 youngest kids. Aren't they a handsome family?

Happy birthday to Roy! 80 years old is a big deal. He's still going strong. What a blessing. He is so blessed to have such a wonderful family.
