Hightlights of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

This was our absolutely CRAZY nativity scene on Christmas Eve. Are any of yours like that??? They look pretty good there, but you have no idea! We love em' anyway.
Everyone got slippers on Christmas Eve. Spencer got a sweatshirt, since I didn't think he would wear slippers. They were all expecting jammies, like we usually do. We changed it up a bit. They still liked it. Gabi made beds on the floor in her room for her sisters, so they could all sleep together.

Spencer talked to his friends on the computer while the girls were doing their thing.

The tradition lives on of the kids waiting patiently on the stairs for the go ahead to come on down Christmas morning.
Christiana picked out this makeup for Gabrielle.
Eliza picked out this football for Spencer.
Gabi's good friend, Jamie stopped in. She was in town with her parents, visiting her brothers. We had no idea they were coming. They called us a few minutes before they showed up. That was a fun surprise.
After opening gifts and trying to figure out how to use all the toys, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's for a family tradition of eating a yummy danish treat of aebleskivers. They are like little golf ball sized pancakes. You eat them with jam, powdered, sugar or syrup. Here is the line to get them. Everyone is very anxious.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Great pictures. I love the slippers. and yes our nativity skits are just as crazy. we have these little blow up gold, myrrh and frankenscence so they get tossed around like a beach ball. Then the shepards staff becomes a light saber and the fun just continues on.

This Christmas Christopher said that he missed the sitting on the stairs waiting to see what Santa brought. How great that the tradition lives on. Loved the pics. Maybe Gabi will make a bed for us sometime! Slippers so cute.
We all had a Merry Christmas to be sure.
