Farewell to the Little Gym

The problem with taking alot of pictures is deciding which ones to put on your blog, which one's to scrapbook, and which ones to just DELETE. So, I am giving you quite a few. This day was a sad day. The Little Gym is closing. The owners tried to sell, with no such luck and eventually had to just shut it down. Their lease was not up until December, but could not afford to pay the rent for another month. It is sad to see many businesses failing.

Eliza learned so much at the Little Gym and has had a great time. She is pretty darn good, if I can just say that. Yes, I am her mother, but she has done really well in gymnastics. Her class put on a show for the families. We took some video and took alot of pictures. I am sure she will have another chance to continue in gymnastics, but for now we will just enjoy taking a break.

Eliza has really enjoyed having Miss Maria for her teacher. We have alot of history with this neat girl. First, she actually took my adult ballet class at Ruth Mitchell. Then she taught at Ruth Mitchell and was Christiana's teacher for 1 year. Then, when we came to the Little Gym, Miss Maria was Eliza's gymnastics teacher and then when we left and came back, she was her teacher again. We will miss her.
