One Person's Trash is Another Person's Treasure

After reading some blog, I can't even remember, about food storage and using your wheat, they mentioned how you could get a breadmaker at any thrift store. I got right on it. I ventured out to my favorite thrift store, Value Village on half price day. I found out when I got there that only the clothing was half price, but that was o'kay because this bread machine was only $7!!!!! Randy googled it and it would have cost $150 new. I met my friend there who is very, very thrifty and homemakey, if you know what I mean. There were 3 bread machines there and she helped me to know what to look for. To make sure I didn't go home with a broken one, I plugged it in at the back of the store. The lights came on. Yes! Now, let's see if it actually works when I get home and pour in the ingredients. I have 7 days to return it if it doesn't. That is the great thing about Value Village. Not all thrift stores will let you return. Anyway, Randy found me the instruction manual online and I read up on it in between breaks of my favorite show, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE! We will talk about that later. LOVE that show! I followed the instructions. Easy as pie. I set the time so that it would be ready at 8:30 in the morning and prayed that it would really bake bread. When I woke up this morning, I could smell bread. My eyes popped wide open. It smelled so good. Now if it really looked right. I ran downstairs and this is what I found.
It worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to taste it.

We all ate it for breakfast with milk and juice. It was delicious!
