Field Day Fun

Start with a group of elementary school kids, add some sun, games, and water, mix up some end of the school year enthusiasm and you've got FIELD DAY! I was lucky enough to catch some time with both Christiana and Eliza on their field day. Christiana's day was extremely hot, and Eliza's was a little breezy. I love spending time at the school at the end of the year.

The water games are a hit. Christiana's teacher even sprayed them down with the hose. They loved it!

They had to bring dry clothes to change into for the tug of war. Christiana's class was supposedly the class to beat with all the big boys, but this was not so. They lost almost every time. You just never know. They put forth a good effort, anyway.

Eliza was thrilled to be able to demonstrate the "worm in the toes" game. Don't worry, the worms were fake. Still gross, though.

These little darlings get along so well. Eliza's teacher loves this class!
