--I had to let her know, she was not quitting, after she had begged to take.
--I had to talk to her teacher about the dress code, so that Gabrielle would continue.
--I had to check into other dance schools, including taking her to other classes to determine if we could find a class she liked at a studio closer, (since I had moved the little girls to a closer studio, in order to make it to Activity Days and Mutual on time on Wed. nights.)
--Then after deciding to come back to GDC, ( for Gabrielle only), I had to complain to the front desk AND the owner, that the teacher was "slacking off", and just hangin' out, socializing with the students. ( It all cleared up and improved tremendously!)
--When the recital costume came in, I had to find a way to help her to like it and feel comfortable in it. ( She almost didn't go to dress rehearsal.)
After all this and more, Gabrielle did beautifully in the recital, was a great little performer, and was very happy(YEAH!!!!) AND, wants to do it again next year. Oh my!
Doesn't she look beautiful?
Gabrielle and her sweet cousin Annelise, lucked out and got their recital performances on the same night. :)
We all came, of course, Randy's parents, Aunt Lauri, cousins Kirsten and Alyssa, and Uncle Robert, Aunt Sharon, baby Emmaline, and Annelise's two friends.
