Our Memorial Day tradition has been to bring small pastel colored flowers to Ansley's grave site. They are usually little pink roses. When we lived in our old house, we cut hydrangea's from our yard. We don't have a vase to put these flowers in so we would just lay them across her grave. My mom gave me the idea to bring pinwheels that spin in the wind. She might have done that before for her Mom or Dad, or maybe she just saw it at the cemetery. I loved that idea, so the last 2 years I have brought pinwheels and I love to watch them spin.
Randy and the girls like to look at the different names of the nearby stones. The entire row that Ansley is in, is all babies. Some that only lived for 1 day and others that lived up to 2-3 months. They are precious little ones. I like to think of them all together and wonder if they know eachother on the other side.
I am thankful for the knowlege that we will be with her in our family again after this life on earth.

Lovely thought about the babies knowing each other. It is not far fetched at all.
