Deck the Halls

Decorating for this Christmas season...We don't go totally crazy; just a few accents of Christmas to make the house feel warm and bright. This nativity was a gift from my parents, the plate was made with vinyl lettering at Relief Society a few years ago, and the painting of the tree which is one of my favorites, was created by my mother for us last year. I should take a picture close up. It's so charming!

Opening this box, you will find an advent calendar with tiny little drawers full of chocolate for each day of the month counting down to Christmas.

We haven't put up this tree in a while, but decided we should since my sister is coming to visit. We all love it so much, we want to make sure it's up every year.

The main tree is full of sentimental ornaments combined with homemade and special ornaments for each child. It's not quite as elegant, but it holds many sweet memories.

I would love to see your homes too!

This looks so beautiful. You are all ready for Christmas. I guess I will get my things out as well and get a start at it. You have inspired me!

Looks great! I'm working on cleaning our house now that all our visitors are gone and then the decorations will be up :)
