Handmade Cards

I recently joined a card making group. I wanted to do it, but was a little intimidated by it. I scrapbook, but nothing fancy. I just like to add a little color, a sticker or two, and then write about the event or picture. So, when people say, "Oh, you're creative, you scrapbook," that doesn't necessarily mean that I am a crafty person. I just like taking pictures and remembering my life. I do enjoy the process, but for me it is very simple.

I joined the card club, 1) to learn how to do it, 2) I LOVE homemade cards, 3) I like giving cards and having cute ones on hand, and 4) mostly cause I just love the people who do it which means I can spend more time with them. :)

What we do, is each person makes a card per person that is participating. We had 13 last month, so I made 13 of the same card. That way each person gets one of each. Then you go home with this lovely arrangement. Aren't they beautiful? I love to see everyone's individual style come out in the cards that they make. I look forward to making more cards and getting more comfortable with the process.
