Sunday dinner

It's been just me and the girls for a little while now since Randy took Gabrielle out to school.  Sunday we usually have Randy's parent's and sometimes some extras for dinner, like the missionaries, friends or family.  We love to gather together on Sundays.  But, this Sunday was different, it was just me and my two youngest.  I still wanted it to be our usual Sunday dinner since they love it, especially the mashed potatoes, so we made it special.  With just the 3 of us at the table we used a few placemats instead of a table cloth and we added a little centerpiece with candlesticks we found in the dining room.  Sunday is special whether we have a big group or just a few us.
We set up the timer on the camera to try to get a picture, and it was quite a comical ordeal trying to get a decent picture..........

But we finally got one!  Love these girls!

Love your blog and I'm glad you are writing again. I have been using the pen and paper. It's lots more time consuming and I don't know if the kids can read it now that schools have eliminated cursive writing. (big mistake in my opinion.)

I seem to go back and forth, the personal journal with pen and paper and then the blog, back and forth. They all are good for different things. I wll be able to read your beautiful cursive but yes it's sad my kids can't really. Things have changed.
