A Visit from Grammy AND Grampy

As you know, Grammy and Grandpy came for Eliza's baptism, but there are a few more moments I want to share. Eating Mexican food is just a part of being in this family. We went for Grampy's birthday and then again when he came back from market. Some of you may have heard already of my kids most embarrassing moment, when Grampy on his birthday with the birthday sombrero on his head started dancing in the restaurant, through the restaurant and outside the restaurant. It was a day we will never forget.

Eliza was quite nervous to leave the restaurant since they had a really scary halloween scene that you had to go through in order to enter and exit. How are we gonna get her out of here? With much planning, we had two people hold each door wide open as she raced through. Whew!

"The Cube" was a hit. Grampy's rental car was all the rage. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with one someday.

Great day with Gpa and ma Nielson here to share it with us.

A lunch date with the VanSants in the heart of our old stomping grounds. It was great to see them. They are well.

Grandma brought her drawing supplies and taught the kids a few tips. They loved it. The drawings are still on my refrigerator.

A quick mantel and family room makeover the morning they left for home. I wish I had a before picture, but we just rearranged some of the accessories we already had. I feel like we have a new house.

It's so warm and cozy, Mitzie is quite happy.
