Yes, it's true, we are back to school already! The temperatures have been almost 100 degrees and it sure doesn't feel like school should be starting when your sweating at the bus stop early in the morning. What ever happened to "back to school" shopping, picking out fun fall clothes? I guess those days are over. Remember when we started back to school in September?
Below are the cutest kids at the bus stop. I love them all. Christiana no longer here; she left her best bud, Anna on the left, back in elementary school. Next year they will be together. I look forward to that and I know they do too. Eliza did great without her big sis and wasn't nearly as nervous as she has been in the past. I am proud of that little girly. She's growin' up. Eliza cracked me up when she put on her new first day of school outfit and said, "I'm so glad to be a cute girl again!" I guess after looking like a rag-a-muffin all summer, it feels good to be in new clothes, up and ready for the day.

My teenagers are getting extremely reluctant to getting their picture taken. I barely got a picture of each of them by the skin of my teeth! I couldn't even get them to pose for one together, so after I dropped them off at school, I had this great idea to take a picture of them from the car, walking in together. They would never know. Ha! It is actually a way cute picture, but it showed what high school they go to and in blogland, that is probably not a great idea. Bummer. You can picture it though.
Notice, this picture is in the garage, that's how desperate I was.
O'kay, I lied, here they are. My friend, Alison, photo shopped it for me. This will be their last year of high school together, then all my kids will be in different schools.
Christiana, the big middle schooler would not let me take a picture at the bus stop. I finally talked her into it, as long as it was with a friend and not by herself and then this is what happened..................jpg)
The bus came early and she had to RUN to catch it. So much for my picture. I'll try again tomorrow.
They all had a good first day. :) And I am a happy more organized Mom again. Smiles again. :)

Send me that picture I may be able to crop the high school name out. Cute bag Christiana has, no backpack for her this year?
Love the first day of school pictures. Remember yours from the 80's. What fun. I am so glad that Eliza is a cute girl again. I have been so worried about that poor litle waif who isn't cute! Not!
How can summer be over at the start of August?!?
Those are way cute outfits on some WAY cute kids.
I am dreading back to school shopping, homework, lunches and getting up early. It's good to know other people I know and love are doing the same thing, but sooner.
Call me sometime. Miss you all!
