When the girls got to school, the Fox 5 News team was there! The school administration rolled out the red carpet (literally) for the kids and had balloons, bubbles, and music playing. How exciting for the first day! I bet the new Kindergarteners thought that this happens all the time. Eliza was anxious to get on that bus. I caught a quick picture before she was gone for the day.
Big steps for Gabs-she started high school and seminary this year. She gets up sooo early to get that hair straight. She is naturally very curly. Too bad 80's hair hasn't come back "IN." I would have killed for her hair when I was a teenager. Spencer is an upper classman now. He was not excited about going back to school as most teenage boys wouldn't be, but he has some good classes and hopefully some good teachers. Only 2 more years, Spencer, you can do it!

This group of dedicated kids come to our house every morning for scripture study before school. You have to hand it to the parent's too for getting them there. This will be Randy's 3rd year teaching. I hope he continues until Gabrielle graduates. Sure would save time. I have been spoiled with not having to drive. But, I do have to make sure things are in order here for them to come, so maybe it's a good tradeoff.

Your house is hopping in the morning.
Glad the kids had a great day.
The kids looked so great for the first day of school. What a happy time for all. That's a big group of seminary students. Go Randy.
You are a perfect family.
We wish the kids well at school this year!
We still have two weeks and are dreading the early morning routine! Summer is just to short.
