More Water!!!!

We must have some dark toilet water cloud hanging over our house. Our house is doomed for toilets overflowing and flooding our house. This is the 3rd time it has happened and Spencer, our oldest always seems to be the lucky guy that finds it. Today, from the basement, he calls, "MOM, COME DOWN HERE!" It sounded quite urgent so down I ran from the dinner table. Sure enough, water everywhere and definitely soaking into our brand new carpet and finished basement. Before I came down, Spencer had ripped off his shirt to soak up water and grabbed a blanket laying on the floor and threw it down in the bathroom. He tapped the handle to keep it from running. After I ran upstairs to tell Randy, Spencer sneaked out the back door of the basement and ran around the house to enter through the front door, shirtless and all. It was freezing out there today. He was afraid of his Dad's reaction, since this is the 3rd time it has happened and everything down there is brand spanking new. If it wasn't for Spencer going down there today, we would not have gone down again till right before bed to make sure everything was locked up and then who knows how much water there would be. We now have 5 blowers and 1 dehumidifier. They say it will be dry in 3 days. So, what caused this herendous problem? We had men laying our dance floor today and they used the toilet, that was blocked by the cabinet for the sink. You can't even shut the door. Wouldn't you know it was under construction? The sub-pump breaker was turned off AND the toilet "stuck," (you know, like when it runs). Anyway, good times at the Krogh's! Time for a new toilet!
